The Amma Station features a traditional Japanese massage style called Amma (or Anma). My name is Jeri and I will be your practitioner at The Amma Station. I began practicing this form of bodywork in 1988. When I first experienced this style of work I was truly amazed by the effects. Also, before experiencing this form of massage I had no concept of energy circulation through the body. I’d previously thought of energy only as something we consumed in the form of food calories and expended in the form of energetic activity or work. Energy constantly circulating through the body, along invisible lines called meridians, was unimaginable to me.
